Looking for a personal caregiver. I have cerebral palsy, use a wheelchair to get around and a hoyer lift to transfer. Applicants must be 20-42yrs old Be able to lift at least 50 pounds, non-smoker, at least 5ft 6 in height, have good hearing, be responsible, and preferably female. Responsibilities include taking me to appointments and running errands(have my own vehicle), keep living and bathroom area clean, I.e. sweeping, mopping, taking out the trash, cooking simple meals and laundry, helping with toileting, dressing, getting in shower. I live next to permanent caregiver. The weekends are her time off. While here you may read,watch tv play games, etc. I can bathe myself and have a lift to put me in bath chair. Just cant be left alone for extended periods.
The weekend shifts are 9 Am-12Am Saturday and Sunday. Backup shifts are as needed on other days when main carer is unavailable with 24hr+ notice.
